"Copacabana" is one of Barry Manilow's most-proclaimed hits. When it was first released in 1978, the general public was addicted to its catchy tune and interesting lyrics. However, after listening to the song a couple of times, it's easy to tell why it's considered one of the most annoying pop songs in history.

The tune is overly repetitive, which can become grating after a while. In fact, this is probably the most common reason for pop songs being annoying: There simply isn't anything interesting or unique that happens during the duration of the tune.

"Honey, I'm Good" by Andy Grammer was one of the biggest and most successful pop songs of the late 2010s. In fact, it peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a few weeks, propelling the artist into the mainstream music industry.

However, while the tune may be catchy, there is something rather off-putting about the lyrics of the song. Andy sings about his loyalty to his wife after turning down a lady who flirted with him at a bar (even though he first goes into detail about how beautiful the woman was).

However, the repetitiveness and grating sounds that make up the song are simply too much to handle at times. While the song may be funny the first time you listen to it, it definitely is not something that you listen to on a daily basis.
